my bunso, Andres Soliman, was born on July 25, 2010. he spent the 1st 10 days of his life in the ICU. we weren't sure if we would take him home. kris and i prayed everyday. cried everyday. our families prayed and cried with us too.
then there was also my kuya and his doctor friends who helped without asking to be paid or anything at all in return. they were in the hospital everyday looking after Andres. Kris and i will always be grateful to them for helping Andres make it home. one of them needs help now. below is her story.

RETURNING A FAVOUR...

Almost 2 years ago, my nephew was in the ICU because of neonatal sepsis. One of the people who took care of him then was a medical school classmate, Dr. Tec Flores, a pediatric cardiologist. For that, I will forever be indebted.
I promised her I would someday return the favour.
That day has come.
A few days ago, while attending a conference in Taiwan, Tec fell very ill. She suffered from an intracranial bleed because of a ruptured aneurysm. She underwent surgery in Taiwan and she is currently in the surgical ICU. Her hospital bill as of this morning was at PhP 800,000, and rising. Fast. She is a good week or two away from being cleared to be airlifted back to the Philippines, and God knows how much that bill would be by then.
I have also been told that her mother is also in the hospital because of breast CA with brain metastasis.
My classmates know that there isn’t much we can do for her at this point except to help out financially. We have been pooling whatever resources we could get our hands on to help with her expenses.
So here I am, appealing to your kind heart, for help.
I am now selling custom-framed 8X12 prints of my photos to help raise funds for my classmate. Every photo from my personal fb page (www.facebook.com/dancelmd) as well as my photography page (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Dennis-Dancel-Photography/152614264773741) will be available for sale for PhP 5,000.00 for each framed photo.
Dear family and friends, I am begging for your help. I know it may be too much to ask for some of you, but If you are not interested with any of the photos, any amount would be of great help to Tec and her family.

She is in a bad situation right now, and if it was I in that situation, I know that she and the rest of my classmates would do the same for me.
